We are seeking an experienced and qualified Approved Electrician to carry out periodic testing & inspection of electrical installations.
Candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience post apprenticeship, in-depth knowledge of electrical test & inspection procedures, good computer literacy and ability to use testing & inspection software for completing reports.
The candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of the current regulations BS7671:2018.
A flexible approach to work is an essential requirement and out of hours working may on occasion be required to complete the work schedule.
The main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Proficiency in carrying out periodic inspection & testing of electrical installations.
* Diagnose and identify electrical faults, providing effective solutions and recommendations for remedial work.
* Produce clear and comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).
* Ensure all work complies with current regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
* Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:
* Valid ECS Grade Card – Approved Electrician
* NVQ Level 3 – Electrical Installation
* City & Guilds 2391
* City & Guilds 2382-18
* Electrical testing experience
* Ability to use laptop & mobile tablet devices.
