Connect Appointments have an immediate start available for a Welder to work in Paisley on a temporary-to-permanent basis!
Our client currently has a need for a skilled Welder with some fabrication skills being preferred, but not essential. This will be a workshop-based role with the occasional need to attend site-based jobs, therefore a driving licence would also be beneficial.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm (with an early finish on Friday)
Pay rate: £19 per hour (PAYE), £24 per hour (CIS)
The successful Welder will be responsible for working with carbon steel and welding structural sections for frameworks, as well as welding of general pipework fabrications.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
* Work with carbon steel and weld structural sections for frameworks
* Weld general pipework fabrications
Qualifications
The ideal Welder will have:
* Previous welding experience
* Excellent attention to detail
* A valid driving licence (beneficial)
* TIG welding skills for stainless steel (beneficial)
