What You'll Be Doing: Supporting pupils with SEMH needs both 1:1 and in small groups, ensuring learning is engaging and accessible Working closely with teachers to deliver structured learning activities and behaviour support strategies Helping students develop emotional regulation and resilience through positive relationships Contributing to a supportive, consistent classroom environment where every child can succeed Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil progress monitoring Supporting inclusion across both classroom and outdoor learning Who We're Looking For: Essential: Demonstrated experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant within a school environment (mainstream or specialist) Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour, or additional learning needs A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour management and emotional support Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to promoting positive outcomes Flexibility, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their best Why Join Through Long Term Futures?
