Your Role
We have an excellent oppoprtunity for a Manufacturing Scientist to join our Fermintation team in Livingston. You will participate in the primary production fermentation process. Your responsibilities will include operating fermentation systems, including cleaning and preparation, monitoring and analyzing fermentation data, and making recommendations for changes. You will assist in data analysis and reporting related to fermentation output, maintain cleanliness and organization in fermentation areas, and ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and proper documentation. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain equipment and materials for fermentation processes and participate in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
Essential Job Functions
Operate fermentation systems, including cleaning and preparation.
Monitor and analyze fermentation data, making recommendations for changes.
Assist in data analysis and reporting related to fermentation output.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of fermentation areas.
Ensure compliance with cGMP and proper documentation.
Prepare and maintain equipment and materials for fermentation processes.
Participate in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
Who You Are
* You hold a degree in science (preferably biotechnology) or an HND with relevant experience.
* You possess strong communication skills.
* You have knowledge of cGMP standards in a regulated environment.
