About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 4–19 with a wide range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviours, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, and Complex Needs. You will work closely with class teachers and multi-disciplinary teams to: Support pupils with communication, interaction and emotional regulation Deliver tailored learning activities in a structured, nurturing environment Promote independence, life skills and positive behaviour Build meaningful relationships that help pupils thrive This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same, and every day you will see the positive impact of your support. About the School This specialist setting is an all-age provision designed to meet a wide range of SEND needs, supporting pupils from early years through to post-16. If you are going into this role as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, Vision for Education will provide you with additional training courses to complete after a successful interview, which include, Safeguarding and Child Protection, Behaviour Management, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and an Introduction into being a Teaching Assistant.
