Overview
We are looking for a skilled HGV Tech Supervisor to lead the night shift at a flagship dealership in Stoke. This is a key role for an experienced HGV Technician ready to step up, overseeing workshop operations for a top-tier manufacturer. As the HGV Tech Supervisor, you will ensure the highest standards of work and mentor a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the night shift team of HGV technicians, organising workflow and allocating jobs.
Conduct quality control checks on completed repairs and services.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on complex diagnostics.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the manufacturer's stringent standards.
Assist with workshop administration, including job cards and health & safety checks.
What You’ll Need
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with solid diagnostic and repair skills.
Previous experience in a senior, lead, or supervisory capacity within a workshop.
A proactive and professional approach to leading a team.
