On behalf of a highly successful consultancy currently in an exciting period of growth, we are recruiting for an experienced and competent Safety & Risk Consultant to work within the Southwest of England.
This role offers the opportunity to become an essential member of an established Safety & Risk Team, supporting a valued and longstanding client in delivering diverse flood and coastal projects. The successful candidate will act as the technical lead for the region, overseeing a team that delivers Principal Designer and CDM Advisor duties across a varied portfolio of schemes.
About the Role
* Manage a team of Safety & Risk Consultants across the Southwest region
* Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers and health, safety & wellbeing teams, as well as external delivery partners
* Projects will range from feasibility studies through to outline and detailed design and construction
* Ensure all designs consider buildability, sustainability, environmental, and health & safety requirements
Essential Requirements
* Chartered Safety Professional
* Relevant degree or diploma
* Sound working knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable Requirements
* Excellent report writing skills
* A proactive approach with an ambition to innovate
* The ability to work away from the office location for short periods
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and excellent record keeping
