Food & Drink Shift Leader role at Gloucester City Council. Location: Guildhall, Gloucester city centre. Hours: 37 per week. Contract: Permanent. Salary: £25,185 - £25,583 per annum. Closing date: 19/10/2025. Job Requisition Number: 12710.
Responsibilities
* Lead and direct the food & drink service, ensuring the safe sale of alcohol.
* Work alongside a team of casual and agency staff, directing shifts and ensuring high standards of customer service and efficiency.
* Prepare a buffet for corporate hirers, serve drinks and snacks to cinema attendees, or serve 400+ attendees at live events.
* Work a mixture of shifts including days and evenings; support events in a busy venue.
About You
Dynamic and motivated individual to oversee daily operations of food and drink services, frontline. You should be confident, proactive, take initiative on shift leadership, pay attention to detail, and adapt quickly to changing situations. Flexibility is essential due to annualised hours.
