As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of our clients exciting Steel Frame Warehouse project in Romsey. Collaborating closely with the Site Manager, you'll contribute to the smooth operation of the site, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project time lines. Key Responsibilities: Site Coordination: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day activities. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Monitor progress and address any issues promptly. Health and Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols. Conduct regular safety inspections. Promote a culture of safety among the team. Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets quality standards. Collaborate with the Site Manager to resolve any quality-related issues. Maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions. Project Documentation: Assist in maintaining project documentation. Prepare reports, progress updates, and site records. Support the Site Manager in managing project costs. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with local authorities, architects, and other stakeholders. Attend project meetings and provide updates. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Previous experience in a construction-related role. Knowledge of construction processes and site management. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. Strong organisational and communication skills.
