Overview
Micheldever Tyres Services are looking a multi drop Driver with some Warehouse duties to join our team. We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic individual with excellent work ethic and customer service skills. This is a multi-functional role: in the morning working in the Warehouse and in the afternoon carrying out multi drop deliveries and collection of customer returns of tyres and products to and from our customer base and distribution centres within the MTS network using (up to and including) 3.5 tonne vehicles.

* Monday to Friday 0800-1630, rotation Saturday morning

About the role
* Ensure all goods received and sent out are checked for faults and reported as required.
* Ensure elevated levels of count accuracy at Stock Audits, effectively communicating stock discrepancies, shortages, or problem areas.
* Ensure any movement of goods within the Warehouse environment is efficient and accurate according to instruction.
* Ensure out-bound vehicles are loaded in a proper, safe manner, according to instruction, Company Practice, and current legislation.
* You will be responsible for the occasional monetary collections from Customers (including cash accounts)
* Assist to maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy manner, ensure legal compliance is always maintained
* Ensure documentation is correct to vehicle & load prior to vehicle release from site
* Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and on-time.
* You should be aware that this role will involve manual handling and heavy lifting as there is a requirement to load and unload vehicles.
About you
* Experience of multidrop delivery
* Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
* Understand workplace Health & Safety
* Ensure the work is carried out in line with Company policies and procedures
* The ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work
* Forklift Licence: Counterbalance or Reach Truck, preferred but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence (Category B1)
