Position Overview: As a Preventative Maintenance Engineer, you will work with the controller to maximize equipment availability through routine and preventative maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs. You will promote safety for yourself and customers by servicing products responsibly.
Location: St Neots / Biggleswade / Huntingdon / Letchworth

Major Responsibilities:
* Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing (75%)
* Conduct machine inspections and identify issues (20%)
* Carry out minor repairs and system installations (5%)

Additional Details: This is a field-based role requiring a full driving license held for at least 2 years. Working hours are 43 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work at overtime rates.
Skills Required: Basic knowledge of engines, hydraulics, powertrain, and vehicle electrics/electronics, with experience in heavy mobile plant or similar equipment.
Accountability: Attend customer sites, perform maintenance, liaise with clients, ensure safety and quality standards, and complete all paperwork accurately.
Qualifications and Experience: Approximately 3 years of relevant experience or related engineering background (e.g., HGV, agricultural, military vehicles), or a formal apprenticeship with at least C&G Level 1. Further safety training will be provided.
