Here at Randstad, we are currently working with local authorities within and around Leicester who are seeking additional tutoring support for their students in Maths, English and Science.
We would love to hear from motivated PGCE and QTS teachers or experienced tutors around the area who are planning on stepping into tuition. Ideally, you will either already have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to get one.
Subjects include:
Primary: Numeracy and Literacy
Secondary: Maths, English, Science, ESOL, ESL, Humanities, Mentoring, Business, Economics (You don't necessarily have to teach all)

Key responsibilities:
7. Creating lesson plans tailored to the student's learning style
8. Assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement and recording attainment levels using our internal reporting system
9. Deliver engaging sessions to support a range of learning styles
10. Drive measurable outcomes from each session to measure impact
11. Work collaboratively with educational/care stakeholders ensuring student support.
12. Working in accordance with the KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines.
Desired experience:
13. Experienced in tutoring one to one or small groups of pupils who require additional educational or pastoral support
14. Experience in taking supervision and correction constructively
15. Experience working in inclusion units, special settings or alternative provisions
16. Experience in working with students with SEN, children with undiagnosed SEN, disengaged young people or looked after children
Essential qualities:
17. Inspirational, effective & flexible communications skills
18. Competent IT skills, access to laptop/computer, audio and visual
19. Stable broadband & internet connection
20. Ability to develop meaningful relationships, encourage and motivate students.
