Overview
We are looking for an event manager. You will have around 5 years of experience in planning, managing events from conception to completion and understand how to align events to company objectives.
Responsibilities
* Plan, organise and run webinars for the B2B or industry-facing channels
* Plan, organise and run face-to-face events for the farming community and the direct-to-consumer channel
* Encourage attendance/registration of events through thoughtful and effective advertising and promotion across key channels
* Maximise opportunity for measuring success for all events
* Project manage the bi-annual conference
* Liaise with all stakeholders and update them on progress
* Be the main point of contact with internal and external stakeholders for all events
* Be able to help with other marketing activities: such as creative, copy, social channels, as and when required
About you
We are looking for a friendly, dynamic and organised event manager for owned and third-party D2C and B2B events throughout the year. This is a fantastic opportunity to help build brand awareness of the two parts of the company, as well as cement customer relationships. You are detail-orientated, organised and mindful of clients need. You are ambitious in what the company can create in terms of their events (whether online or offline).
You will have
* Event Manager experience with an operational focus
* Experience in managing and optimising events from beginning to end, including understanding the importance of tracking and following up
* Experience working with a variety of stakeholders and be able to harmonise voices in the room with the core beneficiary in mind
* Comfort working with a CRM and a CMS
* Commercial acumen and experience of managing event budgets
* Experience in advertising events (mostly owned) and encouraging sign-up or attendance
* Broad techstack experience including HubSpot, Canva, WordPress
* Lots of creativity and ideas for helping us improve our practices

* An enthusiasm for marketing and event metrics
* If you have an understanding of agriculture or food supply chains, that is a plus, but not essential. A willingness to learn, however, is!

Location & Visa
This role is expected to be based from our office in the East Riding of Yorkshire. However, consideration for hybrid could be considered for candidates from further afield. Please note that we are not currently able to sponsor Tier 2 visas.
