The Creative Collaboration department is looking for an Assistant Producer (Learning) to join their team.
Working closely with the Producer (Learning) and Senior Producer (Learning & Participation) the Assistant Producer will support in the coordination delivery and strategic development learning programmes for schools, including SEND and PRU, further and higher educational providers from across the City and Greater London.
The role will collaborate with colleagues to develop relationships with a wide range of creative practitioners and companies, as well as colleagues within the Centre, contributing to the smooth running of the Learning and Participation programmes.
The team is looking for someone with:
1. An ability to work as part of team and collaborate to achieve a shared goal.
2. Strong administration and organisational skills.
3. Experience of working on participatory arts projects and programmes.
4. Excellent communication skills, able to work with a wide range of people from across Barbican teams as well as project partners, audiences and participants.
5. A commitment to safeguarding, access, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and the Barbican’s values.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated and have good knowledge of administration systems, with an ability to multitask and a positive can-do attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital.
