Role
The role is a full‑time or part‑time Procurement Specialist based in Bournemouth and Dorset and surrounding areas. It involves regular travel to clients’ premises and working onsite directly with educational organisations to provide a comprehensive procurement and tendering service.
Responsibilities
* Lead the procurement process for contracts across multiple categories, including facilities, estates, finance, curriculum, ICT and other projects.
* Embed best practice, efficiency and effectiveness within procurement processes, ensuring compliance with UK procurement regulations and legislation and assisting in achieving savings.
* Provide proactive, comprehensive service and advice on all aspects of procurement to all levels of personnel and manage relationships between the client and its suppliers.
Qualifications
* Experience in procurement within the public sector or education sector.
* Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Act 2023.
* Successfully able to travel to client sites.
