As the business continues to grow, they are now seeking to appoint a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the finance function and play a pivotal role in shaping their next phase of growth. Working closely with the leadership team, this is an ideal opportunity for a commercially astute and analytical finance professional to play a key role in shaping financial strategy, supporting decision-making, and driving performance across the business. The Role: Oversee the finance function, reporting directly to the senior leadership team Prepare monthly management accounts Work closely with senior leadership to lead budgeting and forecasting, providing clear financial direction and insight Monitor and report on variance analysis Develop, implement and maintain financial controls Prepare board packs and financial reports, ensuring key insights are communicated clearly Develop and implement KPIs and financial dashboards to enhance performance tracking and support strategic decision-making Identifying potential efficiencies and improvements to systems, processes, and operations Prepare and present financial results and insights to the wider business The Person: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience Proven experience in a similar hands-on finance role, ideally within a growing SME Strong systems experience Commercially minded with the ability to interpret financial data and present insights to senior stakeholder Excellent communication skills Proven experience of leading, supporting, and motivating a small team To apply for this Financial Controller job please click on the link below or contact Laura Haggan to discuss in the strictest confidence.
