Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred. Previous experience with 'Protel' would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will also be expected to carry out F&B duties from time to time.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
* Manage front desk operations including check-in and check-out procedures.
* Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
* Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations.
* Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls effectively.
* Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
* Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Skills
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
* Experience in hospitality management or hotel management is highly desirable.
* Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse guests.
* Familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial.
* Proficient in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems.
* Previous experience in front desk operations or resort environments is preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
