Overview
ARL Services (UK) Ltd are currently recruiting experienced Security Agents to work within our Manchester Airport Aviation Operations, who are able to maintain high standards of performance, discipline and appearance. Successful candidates will have a proactive approach to security and will be able to fit into a team that performs to high standards.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities
* Performing versatile security functions including, but not restricted to, body searches, bag searches, aircraft searches, access control, document checking, and passenger interviewing etc.
* Use of security industry approved systems, such as metal detectors, ETD machines
Hours of Work
Shift work (Various Shift patterns).
Person Specification
* 5-year checkable work history.
* Full colour vision and hearing that meets our required standard.
* The physical fitness to cope with long periods of standing, sitting, bending, and walking.
* Good command of English, spoken, written and for fluent communication additional languages are always a bonus.
* Able to work under pressure and a warm, engaging personality, positive, friendly approach, customer service skills.
* Punctual, professional and attention to detail.
* Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security.
* Willing to support operations out of MAN as and when required (upon agreement).
* Maintenance of Client and ARL Services quality control standards and company procedures.
* Act within the authorities set out by ARL Services (UK) management and the company’s working procedures.
* Promote ARL Services (UK) Ltd and the client in a positive manner.
* Undertaking other reasonable security functions as required by the security management team and client.
You Must Also Be
* 18 years or older to start training.
* Happy to complete our pre-employment, criminal record, and counter-terrorism checks.
* Available to complete full-time training for your first 3 weeks.
* Must have a valid driving licence.
* Able to start as early as 5.30 am.
