We are looking for a Bank Registered Mental Health / Learning Disability Nurse (RMN / RNLD) with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
Cygnet Hospital Taunton provides an acute inpatient admission service for men and a specialist inpatient service for men diagnosed with a learning disability.
The hospital is situated in a rural setting amongst Taunton farmland, within acres of peaceful fields. This tranquil environment benefits our service users, who can enjoy walks in the hospital grounds and take in the countryside scenery. * Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
* Work closely with the management team to develop the service, conduct audits, and improve quality.
* Attend all training and engage in CPD to enhance knowledge and promote nursing excellence.
* Ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collectively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, in accordance with NMC guidelines.
* Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and guidelines.
You
An experienced RMN/RNLD with a current Pin Number, you'll have:
* The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, and demonstrate integrity in your role.
* A good understanding of the latest nursing practices.
* A commitment to patient recovery to effectively monitor, manage, and reduce risk.
* Compassion, resilience, and a dedication to empower and support service user independence.
* The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role.
* An interest in leadership, research, and assessment.
