Master Data Management (MDM) Lead
Remote (with occasional travel as needed)
Up to £70,000 + 15% discretionary bonus
We are currently supporting a dynamic and growing European business in their search for a Master Data Management (MDM) Lead to join their expanding Data & AI platform team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s critical data management initiatives as part of a broader transformation programme.
About the Programme
The business is making significant investments in data capability, with several streams of work already underway:
* Data Governance (communities already in place)
* Implementation of IPAZ and MDM solutions
* Migration of data intelligence to Snowflake
* AI initiatives
* Core Master Data Management (MDM) build-out
The Role
As the MDM Lead, you will:
* Provide technical leadership across the MDM programme
* Drive the use of trusted master data to enhance customer experience, optimise service delivery, and improve operational efficiency.
* Ensure master data readiness to support advanced analytics, AI/ML initiatives, and automation across business operations.
* Work with the business to define and implement MDM processes and best practices
* Oversee the MDM technology solution (Informatica desirable, but not essential – training available)
* Collaborate with Data Governance and Data Intelligence teams
* Drive consistency and quality across key data domains: Customer, Product, Service, and Location (with more to follow)
Team & Environment
* Working alongside Data Engineering, MDM & IPAZ, and Integration teams
* Part of a growing platform team (currently 10–15 people) with further headcount planned
* Supported by Professional Services teams covering MDM and Data Intelligence
