The Opportunity
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our Organisational, Learning, Development and Inclusion team.
This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality learning and development services across the organisation. You’ll be at the heart of our operations—ensuring everything runs smoothly by providing accurate, timely, and dependable administrative support.
With a strong focus on customer service and data accuracy, your work will directly contribute to delivering meaningful outcomes for frontline policing. You’ll also be part of a collaborative, inclusive team working across the organisation to ensure services are aligned and reflect our core values and behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide efficient, accurate administrative support across the team
* Support the coordination of meetings, events, and conferences
* Maintain and update records and systems with a high level of accuracy
* Produce management information, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
* Monitor workflows, deadlines, and service level agreements to drive continuous improvement
* Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the organisation
* Respond to queries, offer guidance, and direct customers to the right information
* Liaise with external partners and agencies where required
* Support the coordination of organisational events across NYP
What We’re Looking For
* Proven administrative experience with strong organisational skills
* Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with a wide range of people
* High attention to detail with a “right first time” mindset
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* A flexible, proactive, and solution‑focused approach

* Hold afull UK manual driving licence
