A UK national law firm is looking to hire a Restructuring Associate (2–6 PQE) into its London office at an exciting stage of growth.
About the Role
You will work as part of a nationally integrated restructuring practice, advising across the full spectrum of distressed and special situations work—from solvent exits to complex insolvencies and turnaround mandates, advising a broad range of clients including lenders, sponsors, corporates and investors.
Your work will include:
* Debt restructurings and lender negotiations
* Liquidity solutions and working capital strategies
* Liability management and covenant analysis
* Alternative financing (ABL, mezzanine, PIK)
* Distressed M&A, investments and secondary debt trades
About You
* 2–6 years’ PQE as a qualified solicitor, with experience in special situations / capital solutions.
* London experience is helpful but not essential—this role is also well-suited to lawyers looking to pivot into restructuring or broaden their transactional skillset.
* Additional experience in restructuring, insolvency, banking & finance, or related transactional areas and exposure to stressed/distressed scenarios
