Turner Lovell are recruiting for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to support the energisation and commissioning phase of a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Scotland. This role will be focused on the safe management of 33kV electrical systems, energisation activities, permit control, and operational access to multiple switch rooms across the project.
Working as part of the commissioning and delivery team, you will play a key role in ensuring all switching, safety documentation, and energisation activities are carried out in accordance with site procedures and industry standards.

1. Acting as the Senior Authorised Person for 33kV electrical systems throughout commissioning and energisation activities.
2. Developing and implementing energisation plans and commissioning strategies.
3. Issuing and managing permits, sanctions, and safety documentation.
