Our client, a network of manufacturer-affiliated vehicle parts retailers, is seeking an Office Administrator to join their dynamic team. As an Office Administrator, you'll be an integral part of the team, reporting to the Centre Manager. Your responsibilities will include: Safely and promptly processing all forms of payment, such as cash, cheques, and cards, in accordance with established procedures. Managing cash refunds for customers and maintaining accurate records. Updating and maintaining cash journals using SAP software. Handling outstanding cash debt in line with our client's procedures. Completing banking tasks for collection by designated cash collection providers or in-person submission. Processing petty cash submissions. Maintaining an efficient filing system for easy document retrieval. Generating regular reports as requested by our client's centre. Monitoring and controlling system access. Providing general administrative support to the team. Professionally responding to customer communications to ensure exceptional satisfaction. Cultivating positive working relationships with team members, customers, head office, and other key stakeholders. Accurate management of customer database records in compliance with data protection regulations. Adhering to business standards, financial, legal, and ethical guidelines, including warranties. Supporting our client in achieving high levels of process efficiency and cost control. Ensuring the proper and accurate use of all systems. To be eligible for this Office Administrator position, you should ideally reside in the Bristol region or within an easily commutable distance from South East Bristol. You'll need previous administrative experience and proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, along with other in-house software systems. While experience in the motor trade or accounts is a plus, it's not a strict requirement.
