Full-Time Teaching Roles – SEN/SEMH (All Subjects) | September Start | Temp-to-Perm | Through Teaching Personnel
Are you a qualified teacher looking for a meaningful role in a specialist setting this September?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting subject specialists for full-time teaching opportunities in specialist provisions across the region, with roles available from September 2025. These positions offer the chance to make a real difference while working in supportive environments tailored to the needs of young people with special educational needs (SEN) or social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
We work closely with a range of specialist provisions, including:
* SEN Schools – Supporting students with autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, communication needs, and physical disabilities. These schools provide adapted curricula, smaller class sizes, and a nurturing, inclusive environment.
* Alternative Provisions (APs) – Catering to students who are unable to access mainstream education due to behavioural challenges, anxiety, medical needs, or other barriers. These settings often provide a creative and flexible curriculum to help re-engage learners.
* Pupil Referral Units (PRUs) – Short-term placements for students excluded from mainstream schools. PRUs focus on improving behaviour, confidence, and personal development while supporting transition to more suitable long-term education.
Through Teaching Personnel, your placement will be carefully matched based on your location, experience, subject specialism, and career goals. You’ll be supported throughout the process by your dedicated consultant, from initial placement to long-term success.
