MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an organisation based in Armagh who are looking to add a Head of HR to their team on a full-time permanent basis. The role:
As Head of HR, you will report into the senior leadership team and play a key role in shaping and executing the people agenda. You'll be responsible for leading and developing an HR team, supporting a diverse workforce across the organisation.
The main responsibilities:
* Lead the HR function, managing a team of HR Generalists.
* Develop and implement a people strategy aligned to business goals.
* Drive continuous improvement in HR practices, policies, and procedures.
* Lead on employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development.
* Act as a strategic partner to operational leaders, providing insight and challenge.
* Ensure compliance with employment law, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
The ideal candidate:
* Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Strong people management experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
* In-depth understanding of NI legislation with practical implementation experience.
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to HR delivery.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* CIPD qualified (Level 7 preferred) or equivalent experience.
