Job Description:
HRLife is looking for an HR Operations Manager for an initial 7-month FTC period to cover a period of leave. Managing a team of operational HR experts, this role offers an opportunity to work closely with the business to drive operational excellence, participate in projects, manage a high-performing team, and support business operations as it grows.
You will be responsible for developing global standards, frameworks, and processes across all HR operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance. You will collaborate with HR teams worldwide to ensure adherence to governance frameworks and support escalated employee lifecycle issues.
Additionally, you will oversee operational aspects related to the expansion into new countries and support the implementation of the global HRIS system.
This role is based in Oxford three days a week and remote two days, ideal for someone seeking a dynamic and busy environment.
You will be involved in:
* Leading the delivery of daily HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, employment changes, documentation, and offboarding
* Line managing the EMEA HR Operations team, supporting their development and workload management
* Ensuring service delivery aligns with business needs, compliance, and employee experience
* Establishing and maintaining governance frameworks, SOPs, and quality standards globally
* Defining processes and templates for onboarding, documentation, employee changes, and policies
* Collaborating with regional HR teams to embed standards and ensure compliance with local regulations
* Monitoring adherence to governance, escalating issues as needed
* Facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices globally
* Leading cross-regional reviews for continuous improvement
* Managing the setup of new operations related to HR activities
* Contributing to the HRIS implementation project through operational input and testing
* Supporting change management and training for system adoption
* Post-launch, supporting system enhancements and process alignment
* Managing global reporting on headcount, attrition, organizational structure, and workforce metrics
* Ensuring data accuracy in all HR systems for analytics and reporting
* Supporting the global mobility processes
