Description:
Berry Recruitment are looking for a Help Desk Operative to work at Southampton General Hospital on a maternity cover contract.
You will need to be available for induction on either 12th or 13th January and start asap after this.
You will need to be flexible with working hours but most of the shifts will be Monday to Friday 13.30 - 21.00.
Hourly pay rate £12.21
The hospital would also like help desk operatives to be trained as ward hosts in case you are asked to ever cover this due to being short staffed.
Key Duties:
1. Support point for information and communication between organisation and customer
2. Receive Service Centre requests (telephone calls, emails and reception) from all service areas of the hospital
3. Enter details of calls into data base and following up details of action and outcome
4. Using specific software and databases
Candidate Requirements:
5. Computer literate including Microsoft Office
6. Excellent customer service at all times
7. Working as part of a busy team and also unsupervised
