The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll take ownership of management accounting for the Group’s Financing Companies and treasury-related activities. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, tax, and treasury teams.
Key responsibilities include:
* Accounting for all treasury transactions including investments, debt, swaps, and FX.
* Producing monthly management accounts and annual statutory returns for Group Financing Companies.
* Preparing Board Reports covering balance sheet, cashflow, and capital expenditure.
* Reviewing and reconciling intercompany balances and consolidation adjustments.
* Liaising with internal and external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
* Supporting continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
About You
You’ll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience and strong technical capability. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and producing high-quality, accurate results.
Essential skills & experience:
* Experience within a technical accounting role, either in Practice or Industry.
* Strong Excel and reporting skills.
* Knowledge of treasury accounting, financial instruments, and derivatives.
* Confident analysing complex balance sheets and cashflow statements.
* Solid understanding of capital expenditure reporting and consolidation adjustments.
* Proactive, results-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
Desirable:
* Experience using SAP or a treasury management system.
* Experience valuing financial instruments and derivatives.
