Art Worker (print packaging)

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

They are expanding their design team and seeking a dedicated Print Packaging Art Worker. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective packaging of printed materials, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting production deadlines.
Duties:
1. Operate and maintain packaging machinery, including printers, laminators, and cutters
2. Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met at all times
3. Prepare materials for printing, including loading paper, adjusting settings, and performing quality checks
4. Collaborate with the production team to prioritise orders and meet deadlines
5. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed
6. Manage inventory levels of packaging materials and replenish supplies as required
7. Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment
8. Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials usage
Requirements:
9. Proven experience in print packaging or a related field
10. Proficiency in operating packaging machinery and equipment
11. Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
12. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
13. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
