What you would be doing

As a service provider to the Faculty of Natural Sciences supporting academics in their commercialisation activities and interactions with industry, your main duties will include supporting the Head of Commercialisation, Faculty of Natural Sciences, and the Commercialisation Executives as appropriate in:

* Promoting College\\\'s research capabilities and licensing portfolio,
* Securing collaborative research and commercialisation income,
* Assessing research discoveries, evaluating and advancing those technologies through to market adoption via collaboration with industry, access to translational funds, licensing or spin out.

What we are looking for

To be successful in this role you will have:

* essential experience in providing dedicated support for senior professional services and academic staff
* experience in relationship and/or project management in a medical, academic or business environment (e.g. pharma, biotech, medical devices etc.) and a strong delivery focus
* excellent communication and administration skills coupled with an understanding of the academic environment

This career opportunity will maximise to the full your experience and interest in roles such as Business Development Manager, Business Development Executive, Relationship Manager, Licensing Executive and Technology Transfer Manager within the pharmaceutical, chemicals, technology, higher education, government sectors or similar.
