Job Description
DISCOUNT VEHICLE LETTERING COMPANY (DVLC) are specialist sign makers to the motor trade.
Due to business growth, we are looking for two full-time experienced Graphic Designers to join our friendly, customer focused team in our Washington premises.
We are looking for designers who have experience within the Sign or Print Industry and are reliable, punctual, and have a 'can do' attitude. A keen eye for detail is essential for this position.
In this position you will be responsible for the designing of vehicle graphics and showroom / forecourt point of sale products.
Duties include the designing of:
* Vehicle graphics
* Forecourt signage
* Showroom point of sale products
* Our own marketing campaigns & promotions
Other duties include:
* Giving customers advice on products and their brand's compliancy
* Quality control of designs before going through to production
* Liaising with customers during the design process
* Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email
* And other day to day duties
Experience Required:
Must have experience in:
* Designing vehicle graphics
* Quick paced environment
* Graphic design skills
* Experience in designing point of sale products
* Experience and an understanding of large format print
* Using either Adobe, Signlab or equivalent software
* Customer interaction by email, phone and in person
* The use and purpose of POS products
* Using own initiative to meet and exceed customers expectations
Days and hours of work:
You will be working 9:00am - 5:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break, Mondays thru Fridays.
Paid overtime during busy periods is available.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
