Job description
We are a group of Companies based in Dukinfield, looking to recruit a full time Book keeper to join our Finance team working alongside our external Accountants and reporting into the Chief Executive.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will involve but not be limited to:
* Preparing and processing Sales Ledger Invoices
* Credit Control
* Sales and Purchase Ledger nominal postings
* Payment of expenses/Invoices
* Bank and Petty Cash Reconciliations
* Producing Monthly accounts
* Administration to include post/scanning/filing
* Payroll
* General organisational of the department
* Full oversight of company finances
This role will suit a resilient and reliable 'self starter' with strong organisational and planning skills.
The ideal candidate will have all round experience of Accounting functions including the following:
* Proven track record in Accounts
* Good IT skills
* Practical, flexible attitude with a hands on approach
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to work quickly with absolute accuracy

* Computer literacy and the ability to use various applications

* Strong Microsoft Office skills are a prerequisite.
* Xero experience ideal
We would prefer you to have a recognized Accountancy qualification such as AAT or studying towards one.
