Your role
* Support customers with mental health needs to build confidence and reach their potential
* Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service
* Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement
* Promote social inclusion and help customers develop resilience and self-esteem
* Work with agencies on behalf of customers, encouraging choice and acting as an advocate when needed
* Maintain a safe environment and follow relevant regulations and practices
Your skills
* Caring, approachable nature
* Ability to keep accurate records and share information clearly with the team
* Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers, families and agencies
* Experience working effectively as part of a team
* Positive and accepting approach to customers whatever their needs
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
* Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
