Cadillac Formula 1 is preparing for the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship with a focus on building a high-performance culture. Role Overview: You will work within the Aero Development Team, applying advanced techniques to enhance aerodynamic performance. Your responsibilities include analyzing CFD and wind tunnel data, fostering innovation, and contributing to the design and development process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver aerodynamic performance through data analysis and innovative design.
* Understand aerodynamic structures and behaviors around the race car.
* Collaborate with management to develop and communicate aerodynamic plans.
* Suggest and implement new methods to improve efficiency in aerodynamic development.
* Participate in team discussions to improve overall car performance.
* Communicate findings and insights to the Lead Engineer.
* Travel may be required occasionally.
Minimum Requirements:
* Degree in Aerodynamics, Aeronautics, or related field.
* Several years of relevant experience, preferably in motorsport.
* Strong understanding of Formula One Technical Regulations.
* Expertise in CFD methods and data analysis.
* Experience leading and managing aerodynamic projects.
* Proficiency with 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience or CATIA).
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
* Effective team management and stakeholder communication abilities.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite.
