Based near Newport, Gwent, this role offers the opportunity to manage a team and ensure high-profile automotive customers are serviced efficiently across Europe.
Up to £60,000 salary plus car allowance

The Role:
As a European Transport Planner, you'll have the opportunity to:
Build and optimise EU transport plans, focusing on reducing empty runs and detention
Manage ferry and Eurotunnel bookings, as well as vignettes and tolls across multiple countries
Ensure compliance with EU Mobility Package and other legal requirements
Oversee GB?EU customs flows and collaborate with brokers
Lead and coach a team of four planners and coordinators
Monitor transport execution and resolve any operational issues
Own and drive lane P&L metrics and service KPIs
The Candidate:
The ideal European Transport Planner will have:
Proven experience in European road transport planning within a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of automotive JIT/JIS flows and multi-country operations
Working knowledge of customs documentation and compliance regulations
Proficiency with TMS/telematics systems and Excel
Leadership skills in team scheduling, coaching, and performance management
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

Annual salary of £60,000
