We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office/Account Manager to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, ensuring a smooth running of the Office and accounts. This position requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in various administrative tasks.
The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, coordinating with clients, and supporting the overall operational efficiency of the office. Applicants must be qualified by experience or be AAT level 4 qualified. It is essential that applicants have at least one year's experience on Xero.
Duties
Manage client accounts by serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries and support.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using Xero and Syrinx.
Perform data entry tasks to ensure all information is up-to-date and organised.
Coordinate meetings and communications between clients and internal teams.
Demonstrate exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with clients and stakeholders.
Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and general office administration.
Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with clients to achieve their objectives.
Run quarterly VAT returns, checking data and filing with HMRC
Run and file payroll and NEST for approx. 45 staff
Experience
• Level 4 AAT or similar qualification
• Proficient on Xero
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday - choice of hours 6am to 2pm / 7am to 3pm / 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm - good flexibility
