Your Role
We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Senior Associate, Operations Change Specialist to join our Markets Operations team in Manchester. This is a HYBRID role, offering you the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely.
What You'll Do
In this impactful role, you will:
* Act as the primary interface between technology and specific business areas for defined projects.
* Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in operational processes, client experiences, and business growth.
* Support and drive complex projects in Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives Operations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Operational teams, product, technology, risk, and compliance.
* Lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring continuous refinement and improvement.
* Analyze and define business requirements and operational specifications.
* Design testing approaches, including use case creation and user acceptance testing.
* Ensure operational readiness by preparing teams for successful adoption of changes.
* Utilize project governance methodologies, including Jira and Confluence, to ensure controlled project delivery.
What You Bring
To thrive in this role, we’re looking for candidates who have:
* A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Core product knowledge in Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income, Equities, and custodian banking.
* A proven track record in project execution and managing senior stakeholders.
* A strong understanding of business and functional requirements, along with process mapping.
* Experience with testing, both scripting and execution.
* Familiarity with Agile environments and short sprint cycles.
* Proficiency in Alteryx, PowerBI, JIRA, Confluence, and test automation tools.
* Exposure to AI tools and capabilities.
* Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to thrive under pressure.
* Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
