HYTE is supporting the appointment of a dedicated Airworthiness Engineer (Contract) for a specialist aerospace engineering organisation.
This is a senior contract role for an experienced airworthiness professional capable of operating autonomously, providing assurance and guidance across regulated aerospace and defence programmes.
The successful contractor will act as the go-to airworthiness specialist, supporting engineering activity with clear, pragmatic, and credible guidance.
✛ Key Responsibilities ✛
* Act as the airworthiness authority across relevant engineering programmes
* Provide guidance on certification, compliance, and assurance activities
* Support design, development, and review from an airworthiness perspective
* Interface with engineering and programme stakeholders
* Ensure alignment with applicable airworthiness frameworks and standards
✛ Candidate Profile ✛
* Proven experience as an Airworthiness Engineer within aerospace or defence
* Strong understanding of UK military or regulated aviation frameworks
* Confident operating as a standalone specialist contractor
* SC clearance or eligibility
