Duties
* Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
* Supervise food production processes to ensure consistency and adherence to recipes.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock.
* Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and professional development.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
* Monitor kitchen operations to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management.
* Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
* A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu design and presentation.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and front-of-house staff.
* Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
