We are looking for an exceptional Retail Sales and Operations Manager who will be responsible for the leadership of our team in our Birmingham territory. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with a can‑do attitude and a proactive, positive outlook, passionate about delivering WFF's unique "good fashioned service" ethic. They will want to make a real difference to our customers' lives. Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is the UK's largest ready‑meal supplier, cooking and delivering over 330 different frozen ready meals to the elderly, their families and healthcare professionals. Cost of Local Distribution (COLD)
- Relentlessly focus on labour, vehicle, depot, and local marketing costs as principal levers.
- Review performance monthly with the Regional Manager.
- Ensure all agreed actions are executed to keep the depot on target.
Growing Sales
- Implement national campaign activities for new and existing customers.
- Ensure all CRM activities are executed.
- Implement local growth initiatives to deliver agreed targets (e.g., sheltered housing, CSA training).
Community Engagement
- Engage with appropriate community organisations.
- Engage local hospitals.
- Engage healthcare professionals – individuals and groups.
Essential Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Establish exceptional relationships with customers.
- Demonstrate experience of delivering sales and profitability targets with a relentless focus on service excellence.

Desirable Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Retail, care, hospitality, or own business experience.
- Experience implementing and complying with Health & Safety processes.

Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English.
- UK manual driving licence held for at least 2 years (subject to driving assessment and DBS checks).
