Responsibilities
* Writing SQL queries and Python (PySpark) scripts for robust data pipelines and modelling.
* Building and optimizing data systems and pipelines (using tools like Airflow and dbt).
* Preparing, analysing, and structuring data for critical reporting systems used by Management.
* Collaborating with analysts and data scientists to build algorithms and support predictive modelling.
* Exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability and combine raw information from different sources.
Qualifications
* Expertise in SQL Query language and Python programming/scripting.
* Strong experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and data warehouses like Redshift or BigQuery.
* Experience of PySpark and Airflow.
* Ability to analyse, organise, and prepare raw data for reporting and modelling.
Nice-to-Haves
* Hands-on experience with dbt for modelling and transformation.
* Ability to develop analytical tools and prototypes.
