Pentagon Talent are collaborating with a top tier global law firm to recruit a Tax Manager on a permanent basis to join the partnership tax team. Reporting to the Head of Partnership Tax, this role will be based in the firms London office on a hybrid basis. The main duties and responsibilities of the Tax Manager include but are not limited to: Leading and managing the full tax compliance cycle for the LLP, its members, and corporate entities Overseeing preparation of UK LLP, corporation tax computations, and individual member tax returns Ensuring timely, accurate tax filings, payments, and handle HMRC correspondence Delivering member tax statements, manage tax reserves, and respond to member queries Monitoring tax legislation, improve processes (including tech solutions), and support tax-related projects and analysis Skills and Experience required: Professionally qualified (e.g. CTA/ACA/ATT or equivalent) Strong UK tax compliance experience, ideally in the legal sector Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills Highly organised, able to plan and deliver a full annual tax compliance cycle Hands-on approach with the ability to both complete tasks and review others' work Works effectively under pressure, managing own and team workloads to meet deadlines Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills Clear and confident communicator, with a team-oriented mindset and focus on development If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience for this London based Tax Manager- Partnerships role, then please apply with your most recent CV and one of our specialist consultants will be in touch.
