Barchester's marketing team has an exciting opportunity looking for a proactive and creative PR Executive to join the Brand Team. Working closely with the PR Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening our reputation within local communities and supporting our care homes to drive commercial success. You will be at the heart of our positive storytelling, creating compelling PR content, supporting homes with media opportunities, and ensuring our brand shines across every channel. Hybrid working is offered, with one day in the office a week located in Finsbury Square, London.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver PR content that highlights the quality of our care services.
* Create self‑serve PR tools and guidance to help homes generate positive local coverage.
* Manage positive media queries and coordinate filming opportunities.
* Celebrate and amplify great press coverage across the business.
* Maintain and optimise intranet content to support an intuitive user experience.
* Promote care ratings, awards, business successes, brand initiatives, and our Charitable Foundation.
* Leverage content that showcases what we want to be known for, including our care services, Care & Life Enrichment framework, dining experience, and life enrichment.
* Support PR activity for homes under construction or refurbishment.
* Work with internal stakeholders to share content across multiple channels.
* Collate and distribute daily press cuttings to key stakeholders.
* Track and report on weekly and monthly coverage.
* Maintain monthly trackers to keep Operations informed.
* Analyse trends to identify successes and areas needing additional focus.
