3 month Hybrid Credit Controller Role - East Nottinghamshire
📍 Location: Nottinghamshire (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
⌚Hours: 37.5 hours per week
💰 Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (pro rata)
📅 Contract Type: Temporary (3 months)

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a short-term opportunity in a dynamic accountancy firm? We’re recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a friendly finance team and help manage customer accounts, reduce aged debt, and support cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter.
* Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment statuses.
* Resolve invoice and payment queries efficiently.
* Monitor customer accounts and escalate issues when necessary.
* Assist in preparing aged debt reports.
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and customers.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (basic formulas and spreadsheet management).
* Familiarity with accounting systems.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively.
* Minimum of a diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
