The Role
As Pastoral Support Officer, you will work closely with the pastoral team, teaching staff, and senior leaders to support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting pupils with behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing needs
* Working with students on a one-to-one or small group basis to promote positive engagement
* Monitoring attendance and supporting strategies to improve it
* Assisting with safeguarding processes and pastoral interventions
* Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies where required
* Supporting the implementation of behaviour policies and restorative practices
You will play a key role in helping students remain engaged in education and achieve their full potential.
