Were currently looking for a Test Rig Facilities Engineer to support the lead the design and delivery of bespoke test rigs and fixtures in support of the core cycle plan across all the Engineering Labs test areas. This contract role will be supporting our client in Gaydon.
The Test Rig Facilities Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Design and development of test rigs and components from initial concept through to final delivery.
2. Production of detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
3. Collaboration with customers to define testing requirements and ensure rig designs meet functional and performance criteria.
4. Coordination with workshop fitters and supervisors to support rig assembly, installation, and troubleshooting.
5. Review and validation of junior engineers designs and technical drawings, providing guidance and feedback.
