Job Purpose
Develop and improve suppliers' processes to meet procurement and quality management goals, including supplier training, performance analysis, and improvement initiatives. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage suppliers' safety, quality, and delivery performance through metrics and KPIs.
2. Enhance supplier capabilities via continuous improvement and data-driven management.
3. Maintain understanding of product requirements and communicate quality initiatives.
4. Collaborate with global functional departments.
5. Support supplier qualification activities per global procedures.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies like Six Sigma, 8D, 5S, and Lean.
* Proficiency in PC tools including Word, Excel, and statistical analysis software.
* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to train.
* Understanding of manufacturing and inspection processes such as forging, machining, welding, NDT.
* Knowledge of industry standards and customer requirements.
Desirable Skills
* Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
Additional Skills
* Ability to work independently and organize diverse workloads.
* Leadership and facilitation skills for improvement projects.
* Understanding of ISO9001, 45001, API Q1 audit processes.
