Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support: Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd line IT support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues. Focus on finding the root cause and implementing permanent solutions.
2. Platform Expertise: Work with Linux and Windows platforms, with a willingness to deepen knowledge in both. Manage and optimise public cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
3. Virtualisation & Storage: Administer virtualisation technologies and storage arrays.
4. Patch Management & Backup: Manage patching processes using software like SCCM or Intune, and handle backup concepts and software.
5. Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts using Shell and PowerShell for automation and efficiency.
6. Security & Protection: Oversee endpoint protection and anti-virus management, preferably with SentinelOne.
