Cleaning Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our team supporting Mitie clients. This role offers an opportunity to lead a cleaning team while ensuring consistently high service standards across routine, planned, and periodic cleaning operations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support a team of cleaning operatives, including recruitment, training, and ongoing development.
* Ensure the delivery of high‑quality cleaning services in line with agreed schedules, monitoring performance to maintain consistent standards of cleanliness.
* Provide on‑the‑job training, particularly around Health & Safety procedures and technical cleaning guidance.
* Manage stock levels, order cleaning supplies, and oversee correct use of cleaning materials.
* Distribute uniforms and ensure compliance with company standards.
* Handle operational issues promptly and professionally, escalating where necessary.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in cleaning supervision or a similar role.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
* Ability to organise workloads effectively and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
